Since 1988, Southern Colorado AIDS Project (SCAP) has provided comprehensive and individualized care to men, women and children in Southern Colorado living with HIV/AIDS. SCAP maintains offices in the metropolitan centers of southern Colorado of Colorado Springs and Pueblo, with some staff travelling to outlying counties. Today, this regional office provides HIV-specific programs and services in a 25-county area of Southern Colorado. Services are provided at no cost, and are offered without regard to age, sex, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or gender expression.
Counties served (25): Alamosa, Baca, Bent, Chaffee, Cheyenne, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, El Paso, Elbert, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Kit Carson, Las Animas, Lincoln, Mineral, Otero, Park, Prowers, Pueblo, Rio Grande, Saguache, and Teller.
